Kylian Mbappe will hope to inspire Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League after a shocking defeat to Newcastle United. The French giants are currently second in the Champions League table. Moreover, their next match is against Italian giants and 7x Champions League winners, AC Milan. Interestingly, Mbappe’s family and coach have made some revelations about AC Milan being a part of the player’s project. 

The focus of Mbappe will be to assist Paris Saint Germain to come out of the much-talked-about Group of Death. With Real Madrid rumors extending to next summer, things look tricky for the speedy forward. Hence, could his AC Milan connections dampen the progress?

Kylian Mbappe broke his goal drought as he scored against RC Strasbourg in the 3-0 win. However, this win gives them confidence for the AC Milan game in the Champions League. It is a game that remains special for Kylian Mbappe’s parents and coach of younger days. They have glorious memories of the player supporting the Italian giants, which build up an intriguing narrative. A tweet from a famous journalist detailed Mbappe’s fanboy moments!

Mbappe’s coach, Antonio, remembered his childhood and stated“Kylian told me that Milan is part of his projects but at the end of his career. Unfortunately, he was joking (…) I don’t want to give illusions to fans, he was joking”.

Meanwhile, Fayza, the mother of Kylian Mbappe, also mentioned, “When he came home, he only talked about Milan. If Milan lost, he would throw the remote control at the TV and say insults in Italian.” In an early interview, Kylian Mbappe mentioned being an AC Milan fan because of his Italian nanny. She loved the Italian giants as they watched the games together.

With Milan roots etched into his blood, Mbappe’s focus would be to assist PSG in conquering Milan. The Italian club has two draws in their first two games in the elite European competition.
