Amid various rumors about his international future, an important Argentinian voice feels that he will play in the next edition of the prestigious tournament.

Hence, many fans want Messi to do his last dance at the 2026 World Cup. Former Argentina player Rubén Darío Insúa is also one of them. In an interview, speaking on Messi, he said,” I think he will play longer after the Copa América.”. He further added, ” I am sure that Messi is going to play in the next World Cup.”

The former Argentina international has also praised the coaching of Lionel Scaloni. He also added that the World Cup-winning manager is doing well and should extend his stay amid questions about his future. However, the priority for the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner will be to retain the Copa America in the USA later this year. This tournament could also determine where his future with La Albiceleste lies.
