A USNMT legend has also predicted that the game between these two could be the most watched in US history.

Despite being a friendly, Inter Miami vs Al Nassr will be huge and one of the most sought after fixtures. Both the Titans could be playing against each other for the last time in their playing careers.

Sebastian Salazar said, “I would bet pretty big money there won’t be another MLS game that comes close even here in the United States. There is no question globally but even in the US.” Following that, US soccer legend Herculez Gomez agreeing to the opinion added,” This is not a MLS thing here. This is not a Saudi Arabia thing. This is a Messi vs Cristiano thing. Nobody’s even going to know or remember that one’s an MLS team and the other one’s a team from Saudi Arabia. They are not going to care one bit about that.”

This statement should not be a surprise for any soccer fan as the last game between also reported big numbers. Both of them played each other at the start of 2023 as PSG clashed against Saudi All-Stars. PSG’s friendly match against Riyadh Season was streamed on multiple attracting over 1.9M Peak Viewers. In total, the broadcasts of the game generated more than 3.2M Hours Watched and attracted 974.7K Average Viewers. PSG won the match 5-4.

The fans will hope that both of them approach this match with the same intensity. Ahead of the much-anticipated match, the Argentinian and Portuguese have planned intense warm-ups.

Before traveling to Saudi Arabia for the Riyadh Cup, he will feature in the friendly against El Salvador’s national team. After that, they will play Al Nassr’s rivals Al Hilal on January 29th. The 36-year-old will play two games before the Al Nassr clash.

Cristiano Ronaldo will also similarly play 2 games. However, he will play these friendlies in China.  The Al Nassr game against Al Hilal will also be very important as it remains a derby match despite it being a friendly tournament.
