The Uruguayan explained how his strikeforce partners were the reason for him to overtake the prime Cristiano Ronaldo.

Crediting Messi and Neymar for this, Luis Suarez said, “In the second year, the two of them (Neymar and Messi) helped me get the Golden Boot. I remember that Leo played for Ney, and Ney was in front of the goalkeeper looking to see if I arrived because I was fighting with Cristiano Ronaldo to be the top scorer. Then he was like, ‘Here, do it yourself’. I won thanks to them.
