The American business tycoon acquired Manchester United due to an unfortunate situation between the stakeholders of the club. Due to a disagreement between sir Alex Ferguson and one of the board member’s wife. A legal case disrupted making the whole situation complicated. Sensing the opportunity Malcolm Glazer brought out a few board members and would eventually take over the whole club.

United owners got a new bidder

The Glazer family own Manchester United is expecting formal bids from the next month. It is still uncertain about what parties are eying for the club. There were reports of Apple also eying to acquire the club. The reported worth of the club at this point is 4.6 billion USD. However, the sale is expected to go somewhere around 7 billion USD.

It was conveyed through a spokesperson who said, “we have formally put ourselves into the process.” It’s not clear where the process is headed as the debate has settled down. Only time will tell who will be the new owner of Manchester United.
