Barcelona fans still vividly remember La Pulga’s iconic goal against Real Madrid in 2017. With both sides leveled at 2-2, Messi produced a goal out of nowhere in the final minutes of the match to take his team past the finish line.

Former Real Madrid left-back, who engaged with Messi throughout the game, touched down on La Pulga’s iconic performance in a recent interview. With the game leveled, both sides headed for a draw, which would see Los Blancos maintain their lead at the top of the table. However, Messi surely had different plans for the game.

The 90+2nd minute of the game saw La Pulga move into the box as he received a brilliant ball from Jordi Alba. With the clock ticking, Messi slotted the ball past the keeper as he found the back of the net to set the away fans in a frenzy.
