On this note, the sensational Roberto Firmino shared a detailed extent of their rivalry with Salah’s selfish gameplay in numerous fixtures to be the eye-opening point!

Jurgen Klopp’s squad witnessed five prolific seasons that transformed their fortunes, with Salah, Mane, and Firmino forming an irresistible trio upfront. This substantially included Champions League and Premier League triumphs in 2019. They have combined for 731 appearances and netted 338 goals over the seasons. However, Firmino highlighted Salah’s style of play, which impeded the smooth rhythm of the game.

Liverpool excelled exceptionally in the duo’s performance, but the individual contributions to each other’s gameplay varied significantly. Salah provided just 83 assists while fielding in 321 games for the Reds. Surprisingly, the FC Roma star assisted Firmino on only 11 occasions since the 2017-18 season.

The Brazilian forward is no longer a part of the PL side’s roster after signing for Al Ahli in the Saudi Pro League. However, he rekindled Salah’s reluctance to engage in passing gameplay, resulting in many missed opportunities in the attacking third. The feud between Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane

Mohamed Salah fielded in 223 games with Sadio Mane, emerging victorious in 150 matches. However, the Liverpool star assisted the former striker 18 times during the last five seasons. As a result, Roberto Firmino pointed out the African teammates had long-standing tension between them, which frequently ignited itself in various matches. The Al Ahli forward said, “For many, that disagreement between Sadio and Mo was the first; for some, the first and last. But I knew it had been brewing since the previous season, 2018–19”.
