Newcastle United: With nine players ruled out, Newcastle United has by far the most injury concerns in this match. Nick Pope- the goalie, Matt Targett and Javier Manquillo- the defenders, will miss the match. Additionally, the midfield is the hardest area for Newcastle in terms of injuries, as Elliot Anderson and Joe Willock are currently recuperating and Sandro Tonali has been suspended. Furthermore, Harvey Barnes, Joelinton, Jacob Murphy, and Callum Wilson will not be present in the attack.

Manchester City: Pep Guardiola might be tense with his side’s injury list. The former Barcelona coach may not have Erling HaalandKevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Manuel Akanji, John Stones, Kalvin Phillips, and Scott Carson. Although De Bruyne made a cameo appearance in the recent FA Cup clash against Huddersfield, he can be used as a substitute. Akanji will also be assessed before the match.

One take at a time

I first kicked a soccer ball when I was 12. My early exposure to playing the sport earned me many accolades at the zonal and district levels. I still remember my first goal, where I scored a 90+5 minute header like Sergio Ramos did in the 2014 Champions League final against Atletico Madrid.
