But, he has not spoken of in the same sentence as the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. However, this can change as suggested by a former Brazil icon.

Neymar tore his meniscus and hurt his knee badly during Brazil’s match against Uruguay. The player has gone through surgery but the road to recovery is a long one. To speed up his recovery, Neymar is taking multiple measures, including even using electricity.

Former Barcelona striker, Romario’s claim about Neymar’s worthiness is backed up by Neymar’s stats. But, it’s the lack of game-playing minutes during the crucial matches and a long list of injuries that act as a hurdle in placing Neymar among the top soccer stars. However, things can change as per Romario.

The former Vasco Da Gama icon shared his take on Neymar as he said, “When you talk about a high level, a level much higher, Neymar is still for me just a little bit missing. But he can reach it even at this moment even though he is already 30 years old he still has the ability to reach the level.”

Neymar is currently focusing on his recovery to make it in time for next year’s Copa America. Neymar’s surgery on November 2 yielded satisfying results. Despite a slow recovery estimated at seven to nine months due to the trauma’s severity, Neymar remains committed to the process. The initial stages in the treatment focus on enhancing knee mobility and leg strength. His injury affects the knee joint which limits movement and weight-bearing capabilities.

Neymar is in constant communication with Al Hilal’s doctor, the team doctor also reports satisfactory progress. His surgery addressed ACL and meniscus injuries in his left knee. To aid recovery, he undergoes intensive rehabilitation using the Crescent Star device, utilizing electric impulses for muscle activation.

The emphasis is on regaining lost muscle mass and size, with the medical team targeting a stable and swift recovery of the crucial ACL and meniscus injuries. Neymar’s injury requires a gradual recovery process. During the treatment, the Brazil No. 10 is restricted from bearing any weight on his affected knee.
