Neymar who was recently under the firing line by the fans, has teammates who are already intimidated ahead of the clash.

South America is holding its 2026 World Cup qualification matches and the overall qualification of Brazil may be a walk in the park with the amount of talent they have. However, the matches between CONMEBOL’s top sides might become pivotal in the final qualification scenario.

Brazil has top players who won many trophies in Europe. On the other hand, Uruguay has some great young talent but is nowhere near as experienced as the Brazillian side. With the exclusion of Luis Suarez, Uruguay is looking for younger talent to fire.

According to a recent report, Uruguay superstar Fede Valverde sent a strong message to the Brazilian camp. Rodrygo, who played for Brazil and Real Madrid said “He told Vini and me: ‘You don’t even need to go, stay in Madrid.’”

Valverde spoke to his teammates Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo before the international break began telling them to ignore the game. The confidence in the Uruguayan squad seems to be pretty high at the moment and the Real Madrid Midfielder looks determined to beat the experienced side of Brazil.

Although it was said in a friendly banter, the Brazilian Real Madrid stars do not want to take his words for granted and would look to exhibit their skills in the most accurate manner possible.

The Uruguayan stars are the best, comments Rodrygo

Rodrygo said that he considers the Uruguayan as one of the best players in the world and the game will definitely not be easy. Rodrygo went on to say, “We have to be careful with him. I’m a big fan of his football. I consider him to be one of the best players in the world. It will be a difficult game, and we have to keep an eye on Valverde.”

The $76 million player is known for scoring some immaculate holding midfield play and also goals in crucial matches. Apart from Valverde, Uruguay also has players like Darwin Nunez and Facundo Pellistri, but still, they seem to be in search of finding the right way.
