The player had concerns about a small injury to the ankle since the last league fixture. The striker did not play the first half against the Faroe Islands in the friendlies, leading to various speculations. However, the Norwegian coach denied any such talks, claiming the insignificance of the fixture. The star, however, faced an issue with his ankle again in the same game, keeping him away for the final fixture against Scotland. But the city coach is hopeful despite the current situation of the player, who seems to be training with the team. This is wonderful news for the treble winning coach as he’ll need his talisman for what is sure to be a pivotal clash in their campaign.

Battle for the top of the table

The two teams, Liverpool and City, are placed one and two on the Premier League charts. The Reds have given City some tough moments in the past, including the 2019–2020 season when they won the league. Haaland, after joining City, scored just once against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup game last season. He has been kept quiet in both league games and in the Community Shield.

One take at a time

Growing up in a sporting background, I found a passion for soccer through the remarkable 2002 World Cup-winning Brazilian football team.
