The drama that unfolded between Manchester United, and Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, had fans baffled. Fans watch in shock as Ronaldo left the pitch in the middle of a game. One thing led to another and after a very controversial Piers Morgan interview, Ronaldo and the English club parted ways.

It all happened as fans cheered their favorite teams in the Qatar World Cup run. However, as fans waited for any European team to sign the great soccer artist, a certain Saudi Arabian club had other plans. Al-Nassr signed the star player in an eye-watering $200 million-a-year deal.

Shocked fans had a hard time grasping the fact that Ronaldo isn’t playing in Europe anymore. While Ronaldo made the Al-Wehda players look like high schoolers, soccer legends figured out something big. Manchester United don’t miss Ronaldo, as they keep on outperforming their opponents. Few claims that Ronaldo leaving turned out to be a reward for a couple of United players.

He said, “I would have liked him to play two or three more years in the top leagues. I think he’s still fit, in good shape. He’s been a player that has taken care of himself very well for all of his career. But I suppose he thought that this is a good option, so I wish him the best, as to all the players that have been playing with us.
