The defensive midfielder threw the first pitch for the game against the Miami Marlins and the Detroit Tigers. Throwing the first pitch in baseball remains a tradition before the start of any game. Notably, a person who has excelled in their respective fields, a celebrity, or a distinguished personality, throws the first pitch. Busquets was given the honor of throwing the first pitch at Robertson’s debut game for the Marlins upon arrival in Miami.

The pitcher joined the Marlins from the New York Mets as two rookie teenagers went to the Mets. He signed a $10,000,000 contract with the Marlins, the same salary Busquets earn with Inter Miami. As for Messi, he makes much more, having around $54 million per year. The sensational Busquets assisted Messi in their latest game against Atlanta United, showing their connection on the pitch. Therefore, the defensive midfielder has started strongly, similar to Robertson in his debut match.
