Inter Miami kept their winning streak alive today as they defeated Cincinnati to reach the finals of the U.S. Open Cup. It was not an easy win for Lionel Messi and Co. as the victory came with a lot of hardships. Despite making a comeback and securing their position in another final, Miami fans are urging David Beckham to buy new defenders, primarily, Sergio Ramos.

Earlier, the Spanish center-back was linked with a lucrative move to the DRV PNK stadium. However, the deal still hasn’t been agreed. Although Miami managed to clinch a win today, fans still want the co-owners of the club to invest in defense.

Another also wrote, “Totally deserved it, but please DB, get Sergio Ramos in. The defence need a total overhaul.” The comments continued urging Beckham to sign Ramos. It seems the Herons fanbase isn’t impressed with their team’s defense. “David, Pls change ur Inter Miami’s back line defenders. Defenders are very poor.” Meanwhile, this netizen seems very angry, as he said, “What a third class defending, sign good defender.”

This summer, Miami signed just Jordi Alba in the name of defense. However, it seems they require another pivotal center-back to diminish their defensive struggles. Hence, it remains to be seen if Beckham signs Ramos or not. Nevertheless, let’s talk about how Messi powered Miami to another final.

Once again, Messi surprised everyone with his much-anticipated and captivating performance. Despite Cincinnati securing a 2-0 lead through goals in the 18th and 53rd minutes, La Pulga, swiftly turned the tide. He orchestrated two crucial assists for Leonardo Campana, thus, nullifying Cincinnati’s lead. Both of their efforts led the game into extra time, during which Miami momentarily took the lead.

Key to their victory was Miami’s goalkeeper, Drake Callender, who made a game-changing save, propelling the team into another final. Unquestionably, the event was laden with suspense, showcasing yet another instance of Messi’s heroic influence.
