No Cristiano Ronaldo, no problem for Al Nassr as Anderson Talisca’s hattrick clinched the win for the Knights of Najd. Ronaldo didn’t board the flight to Qatar, as he was dropped citing fitness concerns.  Spending his time in Riyadh, the former Real Madrid star sent a heartfelt message to his friend and former teammate, Marcelo.

Unlike Ronaldo, however, the club captain didn’t post a single thing regarding Al Nassr’s latest win. With no comments backing his silence, fans have started to speculate if everything is fine internally in the club. Castro had previously been fuming when questions were put on his selections.

Is something brewing in Riyadh?

Luis Castro was visibly angry and fuming, when he was asked about his decision to bench Cristiano Ronaldo. To clear his stance further, he added, “It wasn’t Luís Castro who decided that the player wouldn’t play, he’s not fit enough to play.”
