Cristiano Ronaldo has received a lot of flak in recent hours following his latest actions. The Al Nassr skipper found himself in the eye of the storm following his controversial act against Al Shadab. Ronaldo lost his calm during the heat of the moment, with the Portuguese talisman clapping back at the fans with an obscene gesture. While fans have taken shots at him for his gesture, critics have also used the opportunity to question the player’s impact on the Saudi Pro League. However, that hasn’t gone down well with his fellow Al Nassr teammates.

Al Nassr star Talisca defended Cristiano Ronaldo in a recent interview with the player slamming critics for questioning his captain. Talisca, in his statement, added, “Those who criticize Cristiano from outside Saudi Arabia do not give him real credit for what he is doing with Al-Nassr. The Saudi league is now among the 10 strongest leagues in the world, and people do not want to accept this fact.” (Source: Record.pt)

The player then praised Cristiano further, adding the player still has a lot left in the tank and can continue playing even in his mid-forties. “It is wonderful to be a colleague of Cristiano. I believe that Ronaldo can continue until his mid-forties. The older he gets, the better he becomes,” he concluded.
