In their next round, they faced Seattle Sounders yesterday. Apart from that Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca lost to Arabian club Al-Hilal in penalties. The game ended up with one goal for each draw. However, Al-Hilal had a great penalty performance and won by 5-3.

The match was looking like it’ll be a goalless draw but, fans weren’t ready for what was to follow. Seattle Sounders lost their debut match in the club world cup and are knocked out. Fans had a lot of expectations from the club. However, the 88th-minute goal from Mohamed Magdy resulted in a 1-0 win for Al Ahly. Heartbroken Sounders have to come home as the new MLS season is about to knock off by the end of the month.
