Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr continues to take bold steps to cement its position as a global soccer force. Presently, the Saudi Arabian club is expecting long-term commitment from their star players to solidify their international popularity. Signing Ronaldo for over $220 million in 2022 was their major step toward fulfilling this ambition. And now, the club wants to retain one of their prized possessions, as his absence can adversely affect the team’s performance. Nonetheless, this seems like a far-fetched dream, as the surging star rejected the club three times.

Al Nassr is undoubtedly pleased with where they are now, as the Saudi club has achieved fans beyond the Middle East and has entered the global scene. Now let’s dive deeper to learn why the young star rejected the soccer giant three times despite Al Nassr’s success.

As per the tweet from 9NFCBALL, Ayman Yahya does not want to stay at his home club, Al Nassr. He rejected the third offer put forth by the club’s executive president, Guido Fienga, as he has no plan to continue further. The offer was a four-year contract for over $3 million and $799,900 per year, besides an amount of over $133,300 before the start of the next season.

As per his current contract with the Saudi Arabian club as of January 15th, Yahya is free to sign with any club he pleases. However, Al Nassr boss Luis Castro wants the young player to stay, as he is an excellent trump card in the left-back position. He can also be a valuable replacement for the club’s midfielders, Sadio Mane and Anderson Talisca because of his versatility.

As per reports, Cristiano Ronaldo’s club offered two lucrative offers to Yahya in December, which he declined. They put the first offer forward in the first week of December, which asked him to stay in the club for three years for $800,000. When he rejected this offer, Al Nassr offered him a four-year contract with a salary of $666,000 per year. Yet, the negotiations irked him, and it looks likely that Yahya might soon leave Al Nassr and, unfortunately, will also miss the Asia Cup.

"Like many, my journey into the beautiful game began by watching the mesmerizing Lionel Messi, as his impeccable vision on the pitch and role as a playmaker, meticulously calculating the path to goal always amazed me. This fascination with the finer details of soccer strategy naturally extended to my interest in content strategy. However, my zeal for being a soccer content analyst is not only because of Messi's magic, as I am a keen follower of the Becks as well.
