Thomas Tuchel Breaks Silence on Bayern Munich Signing ‘Specialist’ Eric Dier From Tottenham Hotspur
Bayern Munich is all set to sign Eric Dier for $4.3 million. As per recent reports, the Tottenham Hotspur defender has already reached Germany for a medical examination. Before that, he will be completing the personal contractual arrangements. Regarding this big move, the club’s manager, Thomas Tuchel, has shared his thoughts and it is highly optimistic!
The German soccer manager believes that Dier is going to be a tremendous asset for the club’s future victories. At first, the Bundesliga club wanted to make Radu Dragusin a part of their team, but the Romanian soccer star had different plans. Nonetheless, the club, including their talisman, Tuchel, is elated to have Dier now.

We’re getting him for the centre-back position, can play right or left centre-back as well as in back 3. He also used to play as #6 in Premier League some years ago.”

The 29-year-old’s contract with Spurs will end this summer, and the team’s head coach, Ange Postecoglou, does not plan to retain Dier. Many believed that he wanted the English star to stay, as center-backs Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero would be absent for an extended period.
