After his unlucky phase as a manager for his main club as a player, stoic Ole has been just waiting patiently. Without much talk after his stint as a manager, the former Norway captain has recently created himself an opportunity to be visible. After his recent visit to the US, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shown interest in coaching Charlotte FC. According to Topbin90, Ole was keen to coach the club and enquired about a few more.

Solskjaer went to the US on a tour to seek more opportunities due to his interest in the MLS. Ole already has experience winning a treble with Manchester United in 1999. However, he would like to replicate his player-like performances as a manager. Ole had gone to watch the Charlotte FC versus Toronto FC game and later saw the club’s modern facilities and liked them.

Solskjaer’s eagerness to get re-involved in the game is palpable!

The former Red Devils player was a student of Sir Alex and moved to coaching United as one of his dreams. After taking over from the Europa League-winning Jose Mourinho in 2018 on an interim basis but made permanent after a few months. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could not win any trophy with United during his tenure. Even though the trophy draught did not reflect his performances, the club was only interested in positive results leading to his departure.

Charlotte FC is yet to speak about their views. If Solskjaer finds an opportunity, the team will expect him to take them to playoffs at least, for sure. Currently, Charlotte is placed 12th in the MLS table. If they win both their games, they could make it to the wildcard game of the Eastern Conference. If Charlotte affords to progress, then Ole might not have a crack. As the current coach, Christian Lattanzio would most likely be rescued from the firing line. Which club do you want Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to coach next? Let us know in the comments below.
