Inter Miami has been making waves following the transfer of Lionel Messi to the MLS. The David Beckham-owned franchise has attracted names such as Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba to their ranks. With the transfer window still in effect, Inter Miami could rope in yet another LaLiga icon if things work out for none other than a Real Madrid legend.

Following the end of his contract at Paris Saint Germain, it’s been 33 days since former Los Blancos captain Sergio Ramos has been on a hunt for a new club. Despite offers from multiple Saudi Arabian sides, the Spaniard snubbed them all to reunite with former rival Lionel Messi at Miami.

According to the latest reports from Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, the ex-Madrid captain has delayed all negotiations with Saudi outfits. And if reports are to be believed, Ramos enjoyed his time with Messi at PSG and wants to continue playing alongside the Argentine at Inter Miami.

Notably, after being snubbed by Gremio in their pursuit of Luis Suarez, Inter Miami could be interested in bringing Ramos into their ranks. The addition of Sergio Ramos could help the side strengthen their defense as Messi and Busquets control the attack and midfield. Whether Ramos lands at Inter Miami, one thing is sure the David Beckham-owned side is becoming a top destination for soccer legends.

Inter Miami emerging as the top destination for legends

At the age of 37, Sergio Ramos did not get a lot of chances to play with PSG as the side continued to bank on the pair of Kimpembe and Marquinhos. The Spaniard believes he still has a lot of games left in him and wants to continue playing the sport in MLS.

Reports have also suggested that Ramos believes America would be a great place for his family to settle down instead of the Middle East. However, in the scenario where the defender fails to get a contract with the MLS outfit, he could opt for the Saudi Arabian side as they offer him a lucrative deal.
