Whenever someone asks the soccer fraternity about the Welcome to Wrexham docuseries, there remains a sense of excitement. The TV show captured the minds and hearts of all fans in a detailed look at Wrexham’s rise to the top. The club has undergone a remarkable transformation thanks to the substantial contribution of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. With proper investment and wise recruitment, the Welsh club remains the go-to club for many players. Nevertheless, Ryan was unable to identify the club when he initially saw the team play on the ground.

In a recent interview with the editors who crafted the Welcome To Wrexham TV show, one of them revealed a confused Ryan. Not able to understand which team was which, Ryan took some time to figure out the team he wanted to buy in the future. Thus, Mohammed El Manasterly revealed the details.

In a recent interview with the show’s editors, according to Hello, Mohammed revealed the first time Ryan laid his eyes on the team. In fact, the reaction is hilarious. Mohammed stated, “The first time Ryan Reynolds watched Wrexham live when he went there, he just sat there and was like ‘Which team is Wrexham?'” It is strange for a person to be unaware of the team he is about to purchase. But Ryan took the club to heart. Ever since then, the team has risen like a phoenix from its ashes.

The Hollywood star duo brought eyeballs to the club. Everyone wanted to visit the old town, and the vibes around the place matched their ambitions. Hence, the first season of their charge saw them succumbing back to the National League. However, last season proved to be the decider. The club finally achieved promotion after 15 years to the EFL League Two. Although their performances can improve, fans cannot underestimate the influence of Ryan and Rob on the team.
