There isn’t much information about Rodolfo Suarez. However, it is publicly known that Luis’ father is a former soldier for his beloved country, Uruguay. In fact, other than being in the army, Mr. Rodolfo was a former soccer player. In his youth days, he used to play for a few local teams in the Salto region of Uruguay. Rodolfo Suarez is married to Sandra Diaz but the exact information isn’t available regarding their marriage.

El Pistolero’s other three brothers, who tread Rodolfo Suarez’s path to become professional soccer players

Luis Suarez’s three brothers, Paolo, Maximiliano, and Diego, also followed in their father’s footsteps to become professional soccer players. Paolo, currently 43, retired from the sport in 2019. Having started his soccer journey in 2001 as a center forward, he made over 125 appearances and notched 27 goals and 4 assists across all competitions for many clubs in Uruguay, El Salvador, and Guatemala throughout his career.

On the other hand, Maximiliano kicked off his soccer career in 2008 as a midfielder. He represented a few clubs from the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, and Uruguay. While there is not much information available regarding his career numbers, Maximiliano used to play as a striker. In 2016, the 36YO hung up his boots.

Last but not least is Diego, who is also enjoying his retirement days. The 31YO signed his first professional contract in 2014. Having played as a forward, he never went abroad and represented Uruguayan clubs, including Miramar, Villa Teresa, Huracán, and Club Oriental. In 2016, after becoming a free agent, Diego announced his retirement in 2017.
