There are practically no words to describe the arrival of Lionel Messi in the United States. The Argentinian superstar seems to have left an indelible mark ever since he started playing for Inter Miami. While he continues to captivate American fans with his soccer prowess, he has left the 1990 World Cup winner in sheer disbelief.

10 goals, three assists, and a trophy in just a month- Messi doesn’t need to prove his time in Miami so far as these numbers say it all. These are enough to drop the jaws of many.

Messi’s arrival in the U.S. has enticed a lot of renowned names to express their disbelief. Likewise, La Pulga also allured another prominent name to jump on the bandwagon. Recently, legendary German player and coach Jurgen Klinsmann spoke about Messi’s impact on David Beckham’s soccer franchise and on the whole country.

While speaking on ESPN, he said, “Just this short story over the last six-eight weeks, it’s just an absolute fairy tale story. It’s fantastic for soccer in the United States, it’s fantastic for the MLS, and from a global perspective. Obviously, the continuation of the Messi story itself is just a script that probably will end up in some Netflix series one day.”

Klinsmann insists that his time at DRV PNK Stadium so far has been more than a fairy tale as it also benefits American soccer and the MLS as well. He also believes that one day his story in Miami will feature on Netflix as a series in the future. Indeed, some heartwarming words from the former Bayern Munich star.

Messi ended his first month by winning the Leagues Cup and the golden boot of the tournament. Each day he has left his ardent supporters in awe of him. Perhaps he’ll be looking to do the same in the MLS as he nears his official debut.

However, this is just the beginning of his journey, as there’s still a long way to go. Currently, he has a really big challenge on his hands.

The skipper would need to carry his side to the top of the table, as Miami is currently sitting at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with just 18 points. Hence, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner must conjure something up in order to improve the domestic position of his side. It remains to be seen how he manages to do that along with his teammates.
