The transfer market has been fueled with speculations surrounding PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe. However, while Spanish side Real Madrid was deemed the frontrunner to land the player, the team has denied any negotiations with the Frenchman. During an interview, Los Blancos star Rodrygo touched down on Mbappe’s potential move to Madrid.

Notably, the saga between Real Madrid and Mbappe has dragged on for years. Although the side has shown great enthusiasm in securing the player, PSG has made every effort to retain their prized asset. Yet, all things point out to the Frenchman, ready to call it quits and extend his contract with the Parisians.

Rodrygo comments on a move for Kylian Mbappe

The drama surrounding Kylian Mbappe does not seem to end. There has been no end to speculations surrounding the player’s future, and it seems like a Real Madrid superstar has now joined the fray. In fact, the Brazilian forward Rodrygo recently commented on Mbappe’s future, claiming he’d love to play with the Frenchman.

However, when he was asked to elaborate, Rodrygo stated that only the club could answer that question. He explained, “Would I sign Mbappé if I could? Of course. he’s a top player. But you should ask the club, not me. We’ll soon have Endrick… he’s very fast, very strong, very explosive. He’s incredible!”.

While fans are eager to see the PSG star play for Madrid, things are not as easy as it seems. After all, PSG accused the Spanish side of going behind their backs to negotiate with Mbappe. Los Blancos recently issued a statement in public claiming that they were not in any sort of contact with the Frenchman, adding fuel to the fire!

Real Madrid denies contact with PSG star!

With less than a year left on Mbappe’s contract, they reported that Los Blancos went behind PSG’s back to lure the player on a free transfer. Madrid has denied any such claims, regardless. The side issued a public statement earlier this month, claiming they are not in contact with any player who plays for PSG.

The club stated, “In the face of news stories broadcast and published by various media, which speculate about supposed negotiations between the player Kylian Mbappé and our club, Real Madrid want to state that these stories are absolutely false and said negotiations, with a player who belongs to PSG, have not taken place.”
