There is an ambitious plan being laid out at STōK Cae Ras. Following the high of the promotion to League One, Wrexham AFC is planning for bigger and better things. As such, celebrity investors like Mesut Ozil, Eva Longoria, and Odell Beckham Jr have joined the party. Yet, the one name that Ryan Reynolds desperately wants to see at Racecourse Ground is Taylor Swift. Co-owner Rob McElhenney has a strategy to use the Kelce brothers to lure the Karma singer in. And the NFL duo feels the plan ‘sounds like a blast.‘

Previously McElhenney had invited the Kelce brothers to a Red Dragons match. Speaking on the New Heights podcast, the brothers revealed their interest in visiting Wales and catching Wrexham in action. Travis Kelce said, “I’m not gonna lie, I really do wanna go to a game man.” Jason replied, “We’ve been meaning to get out there for a game. I mean listen, you haven’t got to talk me to go overseas, jump the pond and watch some football.”

The brothers also had words of praise for Reynolds and McElhenney. According to them, the Wrexham owners are the ‘best’ for their role in reversing the fortunes of the club. For Ryan Reynolds, the presence of Travis Kelce would imply that his girlfriend, Taylor Swift would also visit and maybe perform at STōK Cae Ras. This has been the ‘hardcore plan‘ all along. However, Swift is not the only high-profile singer Reynolds hopes to bring in at Racecourse ground.

Following the end of a soccer season, the stadiums usually host concerts and shows. The Hollywood owners want the same at Racecourse ground, except they want the biggest pop singers performing. Previously, on the Fearless in Devotion podcast, the owners claimed that they wanted to see the likes of Taylor Swift and Beyonce dazzle at the Wrexham stadium. Yet, they faced a challenge in doing so. Reynolds explained, “We’re going to need some more seats, Rob. They play the biggest of the big stadiums.”

Fortunately, a solution is already being worked on. The 12000 capacity STōK Cae Ras is currently undergoing renovation. The addition of the new stand would mean that 16000 supporters could fit in at the stadium. Remarkably, this is 1/3rd of what the owners are envisioning. As per the owners, the plan is to have a capacity of around 45-55 thousand eventually. The rationale behind this is so that the ‘whole town’ can turn up to Wrexham matches. While this would make the stadium more appealing to celebrity singers like Swift and Beyonce, it is a long-term plan that will take years to complete.
