In the 2022 edition of SportsUnited’s Brand partnership report, it was revealed that Alex Morgan is the most endorsed female athlete of the year 2022. The report revealed that Morgan has inked 27 different brand deals – more than any other woman in sports. Some of her most notable partnerships include Google, AT&T, Coca-Cola, and more.
Alex Morgan surpassed some big names like Tennis legend Serena Williams and the young star Naomi Osaka. These two, along with soccer star Ali Krieger, were leading the list back in 2021. This is a huge accomplishment for the San Diego Wave FC captain. And evidence of Morgan’s growing influence can be seen in the way she is able to command top-dollar endorsement deals.

There’s no doubt that the growth of all women’s sports has been exponential in recent years. Bob Lynch, the CEO of Sponsor United testified this by saying, “In recent years, attendance, viewership and social engagement for women’s sports and athletes has spiked, leading to long-overdue financial backing through investments and sponsorships that are visibly paying off and should only continue to accelerate.”
The report also reveals that brand deals among all women’s sports have grown by 20% over the year. The future of women’s sports is looking very promising. With more and more women becoming interested and involved in sports, it is clear that the traditional view of only men’s sports is no longer valid.
