There’s a reason everyone calls Conor McGregor ‘Mystic Mac.’ For those unaware, it’s because he has a knack for predicting things. Years ago, the Irish MMA fighter told Cristiano Ronaldo that one day he would surpass the Portuguese superstar on Forbes’ list of highest-paid athletes. And boy he surely did take that crown in 2021. However, it seems McGregor isn’t done following in CR7’s footsteps, as he now aims to have the same number of children as Ronaldo!

Well, this hint came in the latest release of ‘I Am Georgina’ Season 3, a Netflix documentary about Ronaldo’s beloved girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez. During S3 Ep1, McGregor reunited with Ronaldo and his significant other during the Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou fight on October 28, 2023, at Saudi Arabia’s Kingdom Arena.

Encountering the Al Nassr star at the event, the 36-year-old boxer immediately gave a strong hug, calling himself the “Happiest man in the whole town!” while adding, “Good to see you, man. How are you, Georgina? Nice to meet you.” After a brief greeting, Ronaldo questioned Conor if he was accompanied by someone. While the Notorious denied it, saying, his wife and kids were back at a hotel in Saudi, he was quick enough to explain his family’s absence.

“We’re gonna have our baby in three weeks. Another boy on the way. He’s very healthy,” Conor cheerfully shared the news with the soccer star couple, referencing his now-born son Mack. Curiously enough, the Real Madrid icon asked if it was the Irishman’s fourth kid, to which the professional boxer affirmed while asking how many kids the soccer star himself has.

Interestingly, as Ronaldo answered “We have five,” McGregor jokingly replied, “Oh, catching up. On the fours! On the fours, yeah!” Hearing this, the 5x Ballon d’Or winner and Georgina chuckled as typical Conor constantly kept hugging and hitting Ronaldo while having a hard laugh. Shortly enough, as the joke ended, McGregor again shared his goodbyes with the couple before planning their next family meet-up.

Notably, Conor McGregor shares three sons, Conor Jr. (2017), Rían (2021), and Mack (2023), as well as daughter Croía (2019), with his wife Dee Devlin. However, with this admission in ‘I Am Georgina,’ who knows, a fifth one is also on its way. Having surpassed Ronaldo on the Forbes list, McGregor would be eager to at least match the legendary soccer player in the number of children.

While the boxer remains ever ready to follow in the footsteps of the Portuguese skipper, Ronaldo wouldn’t be allowed to do the same, especially in the presence of his girlfriend Rodriguez.

Georgina Rodriguez ‘can’t imagine’ Cristiano Ronaldo to do boxing like Conor McGregor!

In a similar segment, while narrating the meeting with the Notorious, Georgina Rodriguez admitted that she would never like to see his boyfriend try a career in boxing. “I can’t imagine Cristiano being a boxer, because, in reality, it’s a pretty risky sport,” she said. “There could be cheap shots, or really bad punches, or rough hits. I don’t know, it could be dangerous,” concluded Georgina, expressing her fear of the sport.

Her concern is understandable, considering the continuous reactions she gave during the Fury vs. Ngannou fight. The 30-year-old Argentine model and influencer seemed visibly horrified after every punch or knockout. Even Ronaldo was seen raising his eyebrows a few times, trying to hide his face with his hands as if he couldn’t handle watching the fight. Regardless, he should stick with soccer after all eh?
