Ahead of a crucial second half of the season, the club received a drop in heartbeat after news surfaced about Ronaldo having a muscle injury. And according to the latest updates, the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner is reportedly experiencing ‘some pain‘ ahead of the matches in China.

Meanwhile, Al Nassr is looking to keep the players connected during the international break. The club friendlies will serve as preparation leading up to the title hunt. But Ronaldo’s recent injury status can leave the club skeptical about the matches in China.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s fitness discipline is always his lifeline. According to reports, even though he is still hurting a little, Ronaldo is still expected to make a comeback soon. The organizer of the China tour recently stated, “We have news that Cristiano is suffering from some pain, but we believe that this is something that professional players are used to. Al Nassr has a very strict training regime for physical recovery, and as far as we know, Cristiano will participate in all the events of this trip to China.”

Al Nassr will play two Chinese Super League clubs, Shanghai Shenhua and Zhejiang Professional, on the 24th and 28th of January. Fans might have been delighted to see Cristiano Ronaldo at the Globe Soccer Awards, despite his injury scare. However, the reports earlier suggested that the maestro would need to train in isolation for a couple of weeks, increasing the anxiety of the supporters.

Additionally, Ronaldo was not seen practicing with the team in their recent session, despite being present for the warmup. Nevertheless, the 38-year-old made it to the China tour. Thanks to his training etiquette and Al Nassr’s medical facilities, the captain is expected to recover rapidly after a great 2023.
