Interestingly, Austrian tennis star Dominic Thiem was one of the people who commented on the post. He was showing his sarcastic side and stated, “Surprise of the tournament.” On the contrary, for Rafael Nadal to make it to the second week is a normal thing that usually happens at the French Open.
Speaking about Dominic Thiem, he has been on a bad run this season. He performed poorly in Australia and in the events after, the results have been disappointing as well. Even at the French Open this year, he exited in the first round. Having been a two-time finalist, this year’s result is a huge disappointment.
