“The grass tournaments have already decided not to play. They are awaiting the announcement of Wimbledon on Wednesday. These are not rumors: they will announce the cancelation,” Hordorff stated.
The clay-court major major Roland Garros can be played during the months of September and October, but it’s not feasible to conduct the grass-court major.
During those months in the North Hemisphere, it’s cold, and eventually, the grass becomes wet and slippery. And professional tennis under such conditions can not be carried out.

Earlier French Open 2020 announced their new dates i.e., from September 20 to October 4, 2020. But the French major will take place just seven days after the conclusion of US Open 2020 and its dates are overlapping with the Laver Cup 2020.
This time, tennis players will face a challenge in making that swift transition from hard to clay courts.
