UFC 262 is almost upon us, and both the main event fighters were quick to the scale in a successful bid. Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler stepped in at 155-pounds on the money and fans breathed a collective sigh of relief.
Tony Ferguson was not far off from the main eventers as he successfully made weight, coming in at 156-pounds.
UFC lightweight Beneil Dariush had a hiccup on the scale as he weighed in at 156.5 on his first attempt. With an hour on the clock, Dariush didn’t take the entire allotted time and returned to the scale at 156 lbs to make the weight.

Rogerio Bontorin was the last fighter to step on the scale and he weighed in at 137-pounds. Heading into the weigh-in show, it was revealed that Rogerio Bontorin was having trouble making the bantamweight limit. It’s clear that his troubles persisted despite being the last one on the scale.
Bontorin took the fight on 3 weeks’ notice; however, he’s a flyweight and was expected to make the limit. Despite now fighting at a higher weight class than he usually does, Rogerio Bontorin came in over the mark.

His miss was just over the 1-pound allowance rate, and his fight against Matt Schnell was never really in jeopardy.
