WATCH: Francis Ngannou Sharpens His Boxing With Legendary Trainer Teddy Atlas

One of the scariest and most dangerous heavyweights on the planet, Francis “The Predator” Ngannou, was seen taking boxing lessons from the legendary boxing coach, Teddy Atlas.

It seems like the two got along very well, as Atlas praised Ngannou in his Instagram post. Ngannou returned the favor with a post of his own.

Francis Ngannou (15-3, 11 KOs) is one of the most lethal heavyweights in the UFC, having finished 11 of his 15 fights by knockout. He is coming off a devastating knockout win over Jairzinho Rozenstruik in just 20 secs of the very first round.

Ngannou is known for his incredible punching power and intimidating presence in the octagon. Being the  #1 contender for the heavyweight title, Ngannou seems to be working on improving his striking game in preparation for the title shot.

How was Francis Ngannou’s training session with Teddy Atlas?

It looks like Ngannou has found himself a new mentor in Teddy Atlas. In the video, Atlas is seen training him to land the perfect uppercut.

He was seemingly impressed by Ngannou’s abilities and posted a video and photo of him training the heavyweight. “As suspected, not only big and powerful, but decent and smart. All the combinations to be a Champion,” Atlas wrote in the caption.

“The Predator” was quick to respond with an Instagram post and a tweet of his own. “Thank you for sharing a bit of your knowledge with me last night @teddy_atlas let’s get some more rounds in again soon,” Ngannou wrote.

In some earlier videos, he was also seen taking lessons from the former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. Already being the most feared heavyweight in the UFC, training with Atlas might make Ngannou unstoppable on the feet.

With a title shot with the current champion Stipe Miocic in the works, Ngannou looks determined to win the rematch.
