McGregor has taken a hiatus to rehabilitate and get back in shape after suffering a terrible leg injury during his last fight. But finally, after a break of more than 16 months, the fighter’s comeback has been announced. In response to the news, Joe Rogan discussed his prediction for the Irishman’s return and expressed his conviction that McGregor still has it in him.

Responding to Derek, Rogan expressed his confidence in the fact that McGregor can still make a strong comeback. “He could. He certainly could. The reason why Floyd Mayweather was still elite even at the top of his game,” stated Rogan, illustrating the boxing legend as a reference.

Rogan and Derek talked about the ‘hunger’ for succeeding that people have in their initial phases and stated how that is something that stays within most people, no matter what they achieve. “I don’t think you ever forget where you came from.
