UFC megastar Conor McGregor took to social media and congratulated famed footballer Cristiano Ronaldo following the news of his transfer. This transfer season in football has been hectic, to say the least, and Ronaldo stole the headlines with his return to Manchester United. Chiefly, he entered the sport majorly through United all the way back in 2003 and played for the club till 2009.
Not too long ago, fellow A-list star Lionel Messi made waves as he finally parted ways with his boyhood club, Barcelona FC for Paris Saint-Germain. The move was rather unprecedented and not many could have predicted another transfer would come in to steal the headlines. However, Ronaldo is arguably the most recognizable footballer in the world, and everyone took notice of his transfer.
Congrats @Cristiano and @ManUtd! Great to hear this! https://t.co/UVrkUnOoaA

Conor McGregor: Where does he go from here?
While McGregor’s impact is still very much on display every time he tweets something out, fans want to see his in-cage activity flourish. McGregor hasn’t won a fight at lightweight since UFC 205 in November 2016 and is 1-3 in his last four fights. He’s been brutally finished by his opponents as of late albeit his losses have come to the very best fighters in the division.
