He highlighted that just as the interviewer does not consider every year without a promotion as a failure, so too should his previous season not be deemed as such. Further, Antetokounmpo emphasized that athletes work relentlessly toward their goals, and setbacks should be viewed as stepping stones to success.

Lastly, Antetokounmpo referenced basketball legend Michael Jordan‘s career, pointing out that even with six championships in 15 years.
