34-Year-Old Conor McGregor Sends a Heartening Message to the ‘Youngest Ever’ UFC Star Raul Rosas Jr.

Despite his many successful business ventures, Conor McGregor is still very much involved in the fighting game. The Irishman was the UFC’s first simultaneous double champion. He is also undoubtedly the biggest PPV star in the sport at the moment. ‘The Notorious’ always keeps an eye on the UFC landscape, often taking to Twitter to comment on fights or engage in banter with his rivals after their fights. Recently, the 34-year-old took to Twitter to wish luck to a young prodigy who is fighting on the UFC 282 card this weekend.
Raul Rosas Jr. who became the youngest UFC signee at 17 years of age, will make his debut this weekend in Vegas. ‘El Nino Problema’ secured a UFC contract in September after impressing Dana White on the Contender Series. Rosas Jr. turned 18 the following month and will face Jay Perrin at UFC 282.

‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor seems to have taken an interest in the youngest-ever UFC signee. The Irishman responded to a clip of the youngster from the UFC 282 media scrum. McGregor shared his excitement for the youngster and wished him the best for his career.

Rosas Jr., in the clip, was engaging in some mild trash talk. He said that his opponent would do a better job as Santa Claus than as a fighter. The 18-year-old looked confident and in high spirits ahead of a monumental fight for his career.

Rosas Jr. is not, however, the only prodigy that excited ‘Mystic Mac.’ Recently, McGregor identified another potential star outside the promotion and asked the UFC to sign him.

After the 2022 PFL Championships, Conor McGregor urged the UFC to sign PFL star Brendan Loughnane. Loughnane won the PFL featherweight title and a million dollars after beating Bubba Jenkins. Loughnane’s performance in the co-main event impressed McGregor enough to call for his signing to the UFC.
In his tweet, McGregor asked the UFC to sign the ‘exciting fighter’ Loughnane. To back his demand, he cited Loughnane’s history with the promotion (Dana White rejected him on the Contender Series in 2019). The Irishman also added that his signing would be a ‘money in the bank’ signing for the UK/European market.
