Cody Garbrandt made a successful return to the octagon after beating Trevin Jones in the preliminary card of the UFC 285 pay-per-view. However, his fight wasn’t as exciting as other fights in the show. It garnered a lot of boos from the crowd due to little action. However, the UFC commentator and podcaster, Joe Rogan, did not seem impressed with Cody Garbrandt’s performance.

While commentating, Joe Rogan commended Garbrandt on his comeback fight. He claimed that the former champion did look like a real-world champion in the fight. However, Rogan believes that ‘No Love’ cannot be taken as a serious contender in the division. He said, “This doesn’t give you the confidence to set him [Cody Garbrandt] up with a real contender.”
