UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, has been involved in a constant Twitter feud with the former UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones. Their rivalry dates back to almost a year, and they have exchanged several barbs during this time.
A fight between the two was touted for some time, but Jon Jones moved up to heavyweight, and Adesanya fought Jan Blachowicz for the light heavyweight title in his bid to be one of the greats. However, the Nigerian lost that fight in a convincing manner which gave ‘Bones’ the opportunity to fire some shots again.
‘Bones’ tweeted, “Talk mad sh*t knowing you can’t back it up and then have the nerve to say, “why are you so obsessed with me.” Acting like a girl over there playing the victim. Bro, you’ve already lost this one. I’ll leave you alone now.”

This tweet was uploaded a few days ago, and Adesanya recently responded to the same. He wrote, “Address me as officer, young c***.”
‘Bones’ Jones is yet to respond to this dig by ‘The Last Stylebender’.
Israel Adesanya loses his first fight in the UFC
While he might still be the middleweight champion, his loss against Jan Blachowicz has derailed a lot of his plans. Adesanya had routinely talked about a future move up to light heavyweight, but the fact that he got totally dominated on the ground changed everything.
Blachowicz had an amazing game plan for the fight and took ‘The Last Stylebender’ down at will. The judges’ scorecards mirrored the common perception. A couple of the judges even awarded some 10-8 rounds to the Polish powerhouse, which caused a lot of controversies.

However, the result wasn’t a talking point at all as it was clear that Adesanya needed to put on some weight before a move up. As he didn’t, Blachowicz made full use of the size advantage and kept his belt.
Do you think Jon Jones will face a similar problem in his move up to heavyweight?
