Gina Carano was one of the biggest names in women’s MMA when she competed. Carano held a professional MMA record of 7-1. While she had a great record, the fighter never returned to competition since 2009. Since then, Carano has moved on to other ventures and has pursued a career in acting. Recently, she was seen calling out the publicists of Disney.

Carano appeared on the Adam Carolla show. Speaking about it, the fighter said, “It sure as hell felt like that. When they’re calling you, the publicists are calling you, and the first thing they lead with is, ‘Oh this isn’t about politics’ and I’m like, you know, ‘are you putting your other people, your other actors through this? Are you harassing them?'” 

The former fighter further added, “I mean, it’s really, really ridiculous. Like, when you look back at my, you know, offenses, it’s really kind of, I just can’t believe grown a** adults…were calling me and having these conversations.”

While Carano slammed her publicists, she has made quite a transition from mixed martial arts to acting. The former fighter was once also featured in a list of prestigious actors.

Gina Carano was featured in the list of top 10 trending actors in 2021 made by Google. The former fighter took fourth place on the list. Shailene Woodley, Pete Davidson, and Alec Baldwin were the only actors placed above Carano.

Gina Carano reacted to this news on her Twitter. While the fighter did not have much to say, she simply reacted using emojis. Carano wrote, “#4 The Top Trending Actors on Google in 2021 Have Been Revealed.”
