Hence, let us have a look at the fighters who have been released in the month of March. As per a Twitter account that keeps track of the active UFC roster, the following fighters have been released.
Teemu Packalen
According to UFC Roster Watch on Twitter, Teemu Packalen is one of the fighters released this month. The Finnish fighter was only four fights old in the promotion. Unfortunately, he lost three of them. So it looks like he could have been released because of his fight losses.

Irwin Rivera
Like Packalen, Irwin Rivera too was new to the promotion. He joined the UFC in 2020 and had had only three fights. However, he lost two of them via decisions. Like former UFC fighters Lee and Sanchez, he has joined Eagle FC.

UFC: Cameron VanCamp released before debut
While most fighters have at least had a few fights in the promotion before being released, it looks like Cameron VanCamp didn’t get the opportunity to do so. The lightweight fighter was supposed to face Nikolas Motta at UFC Vegas 37 at short notice. However, the bout got canceled because of an undisclosed injury. The promotion did not reveal which fighter was injured. Thus, VanCamp did not even debut in the promotion.
