Notably, on Nov 16, the brand posted a series of photos on its Instagram handle from the latest photoshoot by Gabriele Galimberti. The photo shoot involved the children holding special-themed teddy bears, which later on became a hotly debated issue.

What did the UFC fighter Brunson say about the luxury brand?

The middleweight fighter took to Twitter and expressed his distaste for the brand’s new ad campaign. The American fighter, who last fought against Jared Cannonier in a TKO loss at UFC 271, declared that one of the world’s hottest brands was “sh*t“.

Thus, Brunson wrote, “Balenciaga y’all full of sh** !!!”

Significantly, Balenciaga’s latest ad attracted backlash online. And it gained substantial traction after YouTuber June Nicole Lapine’s tweet regarding the same.

As a result, the brand apologized to its Instagram followers and deleted all the posts from its social media handle. Similarly, Gabriele Galimberti also took to Instagram and released a statement and further clarified his stand.

The businesswoman first clarified that she took some time to speak up, as she wanted to learn the situation better. Further, she added she engaged with the team to understand how this could have happened.

Following this, the 42-year-old celebrity wrote, “As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period.”
