BKFC 41 will feature some popular former UFC stars which will take place on Friday. During the press conference, the media asked President David Feldman about former UFC Champion Francis Ngannou coming into his promotion. Feldman revealed his company and Ngannou’s team are negotiating the monetary terms for the contract.

Francis Ngannou shocked the world after leaving the UFC and getting stripped of his heavyweight title. He was looking for a boxing match with the current WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury. However, those plans haven’t come to fruition. But ‘The Predator’ has other options for his consideration, which include the BKFC.

BKFC president claims Francis Ngannou is asking for unrealistic money

While there have been several rumors speculating about Ngannou’s move to the BKFC, David Feldman has revealed that his company has been in touch with the former UFC champion’s representatives. But apparently, they are not on the same page. Feldman said, “Francis Ngannou could be, you know, he’s someone that we have certainly reached out to.”

Feldman added, “We’ve talked to him, we’ve reached out to his team, you know. At this point, we just feel like he’s asking for unrealistic money.” He mentioned that they aren’t interested in paying him the sum he wants. “We are not willing to pay that kind of money for him.”

Feldman believes ‘The Predator’ needs to act fast

David Feldman claims that the French-Cameroonian is running out of time before he loses credibility as a fighter. He said, “I do think he needs to make his mind up pretty soon, you know.” The BKFC boss added, “As the days go on, his value will start to drop a little bit.”

Francis Ngannou has received the green light from Bellator president Scott Coker to engage in boxing matches under the showtime banner while also fighting under his promotion. However, that alone isn’t what ‘The Predator’ is looking for. He seems to be looking forward to a big money deal. But the return of Jon Jones and his amazing UFC 285 performance has put him on the map as a much more valuable athlete than Francis Ngannou. Fans will have to wait and see what the former champion decides to move ahead with.
