Nate Diaz took to Twitter recently to mock Conor McGreg0r in an epic rant. Diaz recalled his UFC 111 win almost a decade ago against Rory Markham. The Stockton native, a lightweight back then, knocked out Markham who was a middleweight.
The bout was scheduled at welterweight with Diaz making the 171 lbs mark. However, Markham weighed in on 177 lbs for the fight. “Who went up two weight classes in half a day notice no hesitation and not promotion about it just did it cause I ain’t no b**ch how’s that Conor f*ck u Whatever u think u did already been done by a real G Try not to get finished agaaaain,” he wrote.

Diaz was coming off a split-decision loss against Gray Maynard in his previous fight. The latter was knocked out by Dan Hardy at UFC 95 prior to that contest. Markham has competed only once since his first-round knockout loss to Diaz.
‘The Notorious’ boasts on his records of having knockout finishes across 3 weight classes in the UFC. Apart from featherweight and lightweight divisions, where he has held UFC gold, McGregor also has a knockout win at the 170lbs division of the UFC over Donald Cerrone. McGregor has fought Diaz twice in his 3 bouts in the UFC’s welterweight division.
The score between the duo is set at 1-1. Diaz finished McGregor at UFC 196. McGregor avenged his loss at UFC 202, earning a decision after a 5-round war. A trilogy is almost bound to happen at some point between the duo. But the mind games between them have never stopped.

Nate Diaz returns at UFC 262
The younger Diaz brother returns at UFC 262 as he faces cream of the crop welterweight contender Leon Edwards. The bout is history-making in its own caliber as it will be the first-ever non-title 5-round co-main event in a UFC pay-per-view.
Fans are excited to see the Stockton native back in action. He hasn’t competed since his UFC 244 loss to Jorge Masvidal. Despite his long absences, Diaz remains a fan favorite and is almost certain to put fans to seats. The UFC is most certainly happy to have one of their bigger stars too.
