Recently, ‘The Notorious’ on Twitter shared a plan with fans and fighters to stop an upcoming lightweight fighter in the UFC.

The saga started when MMA journalist Alex Behunin uploaded a video of Rafael Fiziev on Twitter. In the video, Fiziev is seen avoiding high kicks. The MMA journalist captioned the video, “I will never get tired of watching Rafael Fiziev enter the Matrix while in a fist fight”

This video, posted by Behunin, came to the notice of Conor McGregor. The former 155-pound champion retweeted the post and wrote, “This is awesome. Change the roundhouse to an axe kick. Roundhouse into and axe kick and this defense eats the full of the heel. I’m telling you. If their reaction to a high kick is this, implement the axe.:”

Fiziev responded to McGregor and invited him to train at his gym. ‘Ataman’ said, “Conor, I invite you to @tigermuaythai where we can show you how to kick and defend the kicks properly so you can stop living in fantasy world where you think it’s possible to land an axe kick in this situation”

ESPN MMA uploaded a post of Fiziev, evading a kick. Under the post, McGregor mentioned how one can change the high kick to an axe kick if their opponent pulls away. McGregor wrote, “Guys, if you find they are pullers of the rear high kick, change it to an axe kick! Makes up the ground while coming down on top of them as they are leaned back. Good luck Mac Gang.”

Fiziev, as expected, did not take this tweet too well. In his reply, ‘Ataman’ issued a challenge to McGregor. Fiziev tweeted, “Maybe try to do it with me @TheNotoriousMMA ?”
