The attack was not an isolated incident. It happened during the Pernell Square attack in Dublin. School worker Leanne Flynn Keogh and three children were confronted by a man with a knife. She was then stabbed while trying to protect the children.

She was gravely hurt and the children were injured too. But she may have been one of the most hurt along with a five year old boy who was put under critical care. Now, sources have revealed that Keogh can be moved to a high-dependency unit from an ICU. Her health is improving. Seeing this bit of news, McGregor sent his prayers.

Do you think McGregor should speak out about these issues more? He has been preparing to make a grand comeback to the UFC at UFC 300. While his training is well underway, no real contracts have been signed between him and Chandler.

Apart from all the trouble faced in his professional life with the broken shit, he has been facing issues with the government as well. Dublin has seen riots which often end up in stabbings of children. The trouble has lasted for a while now and McGregor has not been safe from negative attention.

In fact, McGregor has found himself in trouble with the government himself. An X post led to him getting negative attention after he alleged that fingers were being pointed at him. Here’s what happened between ‘The Notorious’ and the Irish government.

Conor McGregor and his issues with the government

McGregor had earlier tweeted a series of tweets that may be considered controversial to say the least. He first addressed the riots with big statements like “Ireland, we are at war.” He would later take on to his X account again to clarify himself and say that he does not “condone” anything sort of damage to property and violence. For this, the government wasn’t happy with him.

“I think these tweets are incredibly irresponsible for someone who has 10 million followers on Twitter alone to be whipping up this level of poison and hate.” said Aodhan O Riordain, a spokesperson. “He knows what he is doing, he is not stupid and for him to say on Wednesday that ‘Ireland is at war’ to his following is incredibly irresponsible.” Hopefully the controversial issues soon come to an end. Meanwhile, are you looking forward to the star’s return in the cage?
