Dana White, by all accounts, is a savage. Not one to mince his words or beat around the bush, the UFC CEO is a straight shooter who is not afraid to speak his mind. And his savage-ness was on full display in his recent appearance on the Nelk Boys’ podcast, where he chewed out their former friend and collaborator Bob Menery for suing them.

Nelk Boys is a prank video and vlog channel popular among young audiences. Many of its members, including Kyle Forgeard, have become friends with Dana White. Bob Menery, who was earlier a co-host of their podcast, but has since fallen out with the group and recently filed a lawsuit against them for allegedly not paying him his dues.

Bob Menery went on the ‘Digital Social Hour’ show on YouTube recently, where he was asked about the feud. The sportscaster started by saying that while they had great chemistry off-camera, he felt he couldn’t defend himself appropriately on his latest podcast episode with White and Kyle.

The reason behind this, he claimed, was because White was the CEO of UFC, and arguing vehemently against him would have hurt Menery’s public image. This is strange since Dana White is not the most popular man even among UFC fans and it is hard to see how exactly defending himself would have hurt his image since not defending himself has hurt his image even more.

“Me and Kyle and Dana all have such an amazing chemistry behind the scenes and everything you saw in that podcast is exactly how it is behind the scenes… You can’t really say anything against him because at the end of the day… you got to be aware of like… your public image, yeah. And you can’t really f***ing badger the president of UFC and talk sh** to him,” Menery said, trying to justify his silence.

What did the UFC boss say to Menery?

White, who was introduced to the Nelk Boys by Menery, went on the podcast to try and mediate the dispute. In typical Dana White fashion, the president called out Menery for being delusional, greedy, and ungrateful, suggesting he blew the biggest opportunity of his life. And despite the tension, it seems White was able to persuade Menery, who has dropped the lawsuit. However, the damage to their friendship may be irreparable.

While he dropped the lawsuit after the podcast, Menery felt that Dana White’s criticism of him was unwarranted since he claimed the Las Vegas resident was not aware of the full picture and was firmly on the Nelk Boys’ side.
