Rousey arrived at the Los Angeles International Airport the day after her loss against Holly Holm back in 2015. But to everyone’s surprise, she took drastic measures to cover up, using her purple pillow to cover her face. Rousey also wore a dark hoodie and did her best not to reveal her face.

Whether she did this not to show the damage received or for any other reason, either way, she succeeded in not showing her face to the paparazzi. Her partner, Travis Brown, accompanied her as the two zoomed away in a black car. The two answered no questions asked by the paparazzi and walked through the crowd.

Holm was quick with her strikes and landed some clean shots on Rousey. Rousey had no answer for her on the feet. Surprisingly, she didn’t try to go for the takedown, which would put Rousey in an advantageous position. Instead, she continued striking and lost most of the exchanges in the first round.
The second round shocked the world. Holm proved the haters wrong by brutally knocking out Rousey via a perfectly timed head kick. This iconic kick was the beginning of the end for Rousey, after which she suffered another loss against Amanda Nunes. This would be her last fight in the UFC before transitioning to the WWE.
