Joe Rogan dubs ‘Taxi Driver’ as a masterpiece on The Joe Rogan Experience
Joe Rogan is a man of taste. His varied experience in life makes him a multi-faceted man who can talk about anything and everything. On the #2027 episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan was seen talking to American folk singer Oliver Anthony. While talking, the two started discussing cinema and the UFC commentator just couldn’t stop talking about and admiring ‘Taxi Driver’, a classic film featuring Robert De Niro.
“You can go back and watch Taxi Driver. That’s a masterpiece of a movie. It’s so connected – you’re connected to all the action… its like you’re on the edge of your seat. It’s… It’s – it’s wild.“, exclaimed Rogan, enthusiastically. However, he didn’t stop there. He proceeded to praise the role that Jodie Foster played in the movie. “The acting’s insane… even Jodie Foster as a kid is insane. And then – it’s so good.“.
Rogan has had famous actors like Kevin Hart and Russell Brand come to his podcast and talk about their experiences. Needless to say, Rogan knows what he is talking about.

Joe Rogan and Hollywood – A bitter-sweet relationship?
Joe Rogan is not someone who is afraid to speak his mind. The UFC commentator and podcast host has been part of many Hollywood movies and sitcoms. For example, he played a role in the 90’s sitcom, ‘Hardball’. He starred alongside Kevin James in the movie ‘Zookeeper’. Will Smith’s recent movie, ‘Bright’, also had Joe Rogan playing himself, interviewing an orc.

However, there were times when Joe Rogan didn’t think twice before dropping truth bombs on Hollywood and calling them out. For example, he severely stood against Hollywood’s ‘hypocritical’ views on gun control, when they were the ones promoting gun violence the most. It is clear that Rogan is a movie buff and loves to watch movies. His stance on ‘Taxi Driver’ and his understanding of the movie just goes to prove that point further.
