Conor McGregor may have never expected the results he’s got in this season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ when he chose the prospects in the beginning. His team has only been racking up losses. Meanwhile, Michael Chandler‘s team of veterans has acquired one more win in the recent episode of TUF 31. The recent winner from ‘Iron’s team, Jason Knight, shared a message after registering a dominant 1st-round victory.

The recent edition of TUF was supposed to get people excited about the addition of Conor McGregor for the second time on the show. However, in light of his team of prospects performing poorly, the show has not been able to replicate the viewership success similar to his last appearance in the 22nd season. Meanwhile, in the recent episode of TUF, McGregor’s team suffered yet another defeat.

The unprecedented string of losses has rattled Conor McGregor. His team has performed so poorly that four of the seven losses have come from stoppages. Furthermore, the recent bout saw veteran Jason Knight submitting prospect Landon Quinones in the very first minute of the first round.

Conor McGregor took his time to subject Quinones to some tough sparring sessions in the lead-up to the recent episode’s fight. However, it didn’t go the way the Irishman would have wanted to. Michael Chandler’s team proved once again that his fighters are tougher when it comes to stepping inside the Octagon. Following his win, Jason Knight had a message for the fans on social media.

Jason Knight sends a message following his win over Landon Quinones from Team Conor McGregor

Jason Knight had previously fought in the UFC for three years. He first fought on the main card of the season finale of TUF 22 but lost in his debut. However, he bounced back with a 4-fight winning streak before registering 4 consecutive defeats and getting released by the promotion. But TUF 31 seemed to be a great opportunity for a comeback and Jason Knight did not disappoint with his performance.
